Reports
The owner and manager reported of seeing a shadowy figure and hearing a child's voice saying, "mama" as well as hearing crashing sounds when nothing was found.  Also finding things moved around, stuffed animals jumping off shelves and opening the store and finding items misplaced and clothing moved on their racks.  Also, customers have experienced hearing voices.

Investigation

This is a private investigation so much of the information must be kept confidential.  HPR showed up at the business around 10:00 pm.  The documentary voice recorder started at 10:43 pm. Members investigating this night were; Robert, Shanon, Greg, Kenny and Elisa. Splitting up into two teams, the first team to investigate were Kenny, Shanon and Greg on documentary camera. The next team members in were Robert, Elisa and Greg on documentary camera.  The store owner and manager participated in the investigation.

Hoosier Paranormal decided to try something new this night.  After each team's investigation session, they exited the building and listened to their voice recorders that corresponded to their session while the next team investigated.  This procedure rotated throughout the night. The purpose of this is to investigate any findings during the investigation as well as to decrease the amount of evidence to go over later.

Investigation Time Line
At 10:52 pm,  team 1 started their static voice recorders.  After lights out, they moved to the front of the store and just listened for any noises.  They then moved to the "country" room where they conducted an EVP session.  Angela noticed her legs getting really cold.  The temperature in that room was 69.9 degrees. At 11:05 pm,  there was a small spike on the tri-field meter along with a noise.  At 11:06 pm:  The temperature was fluctuating around 68.7 degrees. Also,  Shanon saw a small bag that was hanging on a shelf in the "country" room move.  The team continued their EVP session in this room for several minutes hearing normal building noises.  At 11:28 pm, everyone heard a noise that was fairly loud that came from the office area which was 15-20 feet from where we were located but not in view.  We continued asking questions but there was no activity on the EMF meters and no EVPs were captured at this time.  At 11:30 pm, the first team ended their first session.  At 11:38 pm, the second team started their voice recorders and placed them in view of cameras. They decided to conduct an EVP session in the "country" room until 11:46 pm when they went to the very back storage area asking question and listening for any voices or other noises. Then they went into a storage room where bathrooms are located when Elisa and the manager experience some dizziness and the manager felt something touch her right wrist at 11:55 pm.  At 11:59 pm, Greg radioed Shanon to confirm that the weather station monitor was working and the team returned to the "country" room.  At 12:00 am, they concluded their EVP session when at 12:02 am, they heard a VP (voice phenomena) that was also recorded on the documentary voice recorder and it was an answer to Elisa's question, "Is your name Fredrick?" with a response, "yes".  At 12:29 am, they tried to recreate the movement of some keys that moved during an earlier investigation of a different group. At 12:32 am, the team ended their session and exited the building for team 1 to enter and begin their second session.  After a brief interview of the store owner, they decided to continue their session with just the three members of HPR in the "country" room while the owner and manager waited outside the building.  While conducting an EVP session at 1:03 am, they heard a noise that could not be explained and was recorded on the voice recorder. It was a grunt sound that was generated in "country" room.  At 1:07 am, Kenny asked the question, "Fredrick, are you in here?" and a response was recorded on our voice recorder. It occurs precisely 7 seconds into the EVP.  However, it is not clear what it's saying.  At 1:12 am, Shanon tried to get a response by holding up flash cards with simple words on them hoping to hear those words on our voice recorder. After a few minutes in there, we decided to separate and blend in the store. While Kenny was in the front of the store, Greg and Shanon remained near the child's room where the toys were.  Shanon was setting on the floor when a box that was leaning back on the wall fell forward with no explanation and, unfortunately, no video camera. At 1:39 am, Shanon experienced the hairs on the back of his neck standing up like he was being watched in the children's room. (room where stuffed animals and other toys were located)  1:40 am:  The team decides to enter the back storage room where the bathrooms are located to conduct an EVP session.  This EVP session concludes after 10 minutes when Shanon claims he heard a voice say, "mom", during the session.  He didn't want to interrupt the session and say anything but wanted to listen  for further voices.  No voices were captured on any recording devices.  At 1:56 am, the other team radioed and was ready for their second and final session. At 2:09 am, team 2 began their last session in the office where they conducted an EVP session until 2:12 am when they went back out in the store in the "children's room". They tried to get a response by playing, "baker's man" nursery rhyme.  At 2:25 am, the store manager experiences cold chills all over.  At 2:32 am, they were asking if the spirit was playing hide-n-seek in the very back room.  At 2:34 am, they decided to go to the very back room where high EMF base readings were present. They remained in there until 2:43 am.  After which they went to the front of the store where Greg and Robert were investigating and heard a couple of noises.   The investigation continued until 3:15 am when the investigation was called and all recording devices were stopped. 

Findings

HPR found one EVP, one VP and a recorded noise that can't be explained.  There was personal experiences by all investigators, store owner and manager.  The back of the store does have continuous high EMF readings.  There was no sudden drops in temperature recorded anywhere and nothing obvious occured.  With our evidence collected, our experiences and from the reports, HPR feels further research is necessary.

Update
On December 6th, 2009, HPR was contacted by the store owner and reported that the front window, inside pane,  was cracked and that the ADT motion sensor alarm was tripped and police officials were called. No evidence of  breaking and entering was found by police.
