Case #48
Seymour, Indiana-  Private Residence
February 27th, 2010

Reports
Activity began first week of residence of things getting moved, hearing music and a woman’s voice.  The voice still comes and goes.  Also the presence of a little girl for 6 months before their roommate moved in.  They could hear the little girl humming and singing.  Then the roommate moved in. Anti-social, male, played video games, stayed in room a lot, seemed the same for a few months, they began nagging on him to keep his room clean, and he became messy, slacked on dishes. He was in the Wicca faith.  When he was getting ready to move out, they noticed more activity. Activity intensified when they rearranged the living room furniture.  Main breaker switch tripped several times. Had it checked out and nothing unusual was found. They also report seeing a figure that they describe as being the old man in a painting. Kaiser the dog:  Seen him looking over at the stove for no apparent reason, hair stood up on his back, he stares out the window at nothing. When he’s in his kennel, he will suddenly get playful when alone like the little girl is trying to play with the dog.  One night, during a storm, the home owner felt a cold breeze across his face and a tug on his pillow while alone.  This was his description of a child trying to wake him.

After a brief interview of the home owners, they brought their dog, Kaiser, in the house and returned him to his cage.  We got out the remaining equipment like thermometers, IR lights and assigned the voice recorders with their respective cameras.  Investigators present this night were; Shanon, Robert, Greg, Kenny and Ricky.  We paired up in teams of two with Robert being the dedicated camera and sound man.  Team one was Greg and Ricky. Team two was Shanon and Kenny.  Voice recorders started recording at 11:00 pm.

11:13 pm, Greg heard what sounded like a cell phone.  On the documentary voice recorder, it did pick up a sound described as a chirping sound. Like a digital camera coming on.

Findings
Hoosier Paranormal was there for approximately 3.5 hours and found no evidence of paranormal activity. Nothing on video camera or audio recorders was captured.  Perhaps we should return on another day. According to the claims, it doesn’t sound residual. Perhaps a hidden camera investigation may be necessary. Set up the equipment and all parties leave the home for several hours. This will remain an open-ended case.
