Base Measurements
The investigation began
officially at 11:15 pm on Saturday, July 23rd, 2011. HPR
investigators present were; Shanon, Robert, Scot, Greg and Kenny.
Two teams were assembled. Greg and Scot was team 1 while Kenny
and Robert was team 2. Shanon was documentarist for the night.
Each team conducted 2 forty five minute sessions. One of the residents
stayed in the house during the investigation and spent most of the
night in the living room. While team one was checking EMF measurements
in the kitchen, the resident was sitting on the living room couch
and experienced light-headedness at 11:22 pm. EMF measurements
were fluctuating from .8 to 3.2 mG. Some research
suggests that a steady exposure of 4.0 or higher is linked to childhood
leukemia. However, depending on the person, lower levels can result in
light-headedness, nausea and even night-time hallucinations.
Team 1 remained in kitchen/living room area until 11:33 when they
decided to go to the child's bedroom and conducted an EVP session.
They remained in the bedroom for 12 minutes when they move to the
roommate's bedroom. At 11:58 pm, team 1 exited the house and team
2 entered the house to begin their first session.
At 12:00 am, team 2 entered the living room. Kenny led an EVP session asking if the deceased uncle was present in the room. At 12:12 am, they exited the living room and went to the child's bedroom where they continued with the EVP session. At 12:36 am, Kenny felt something brush against the hair on the back of his left hand. At 12:40 am, this occurred to Kenny again but on his right hand. At 12:41 am, Robert felt the same thing on his hand. At 12:44 am, the team exited the bedroom so Robert could switch out his video tape before exiting the house at 12:50 am ending their first session. At 12:51 am, team 1 entered the house again to begin their second session. At 1:00 am, they entered the child's bedroom. At 1:04 am, Greg found a plush bear from the closet and tried to use it as a "trigger object" to entice any spirits to pull the bear out of his hands. Scot moved to a different location at 1:06 am hoping it would move any spirits around that might be hiding in the house. At 1:07 am, Greg's flashlight came on by itself while in the child's bedroom. The flashlight was in his hand but not in view of the video camera. Being a twist-on style light, it's possible it wasn't entirely off causing it to come on. At 1:13 am, Robert called Greg on the radio to inform him of the high EMF measurements around the neighborhood. At 1:16 am, Greg led an EVP session in the child's bedroom. At 1:21 am, Greg noticed a drop in EMF by the child's headboard from 3 to 1 with the MEL meter. At 1:24 am, Scot checked to see if the compressor was still running on the refrigerator that's located opposite side the wall from the child's headboard. At 1:29 am, team 1 exits the house and team 2 enters the house at 1:31 am. Team 2 enters the child's bedroom again at 1:34 am. At 1:35 am, Robert uses his twist-on style flashlight on the dresser hoping to get a response. At 1:39 am, just out of curiosity, Shanon shined his laser pointer on the flashlight and it came on. He did it a second time and it came on again briefly. Then, Robert stated, "third time's charm", just before Shanon tried it for a third time and it came on again! At 1:46 am, Kenny heard something in his headphones but it turned out to be an exhale from one of us. At 1:50 am, HPR calls the investigation to end. No evidence was captured on this night.
Conclusion While HPR believes the clients claims of activity, HPR feels that either the activity could be residual in nature or perhaps some of the activity could be a result of Hyper-EMF-Sensitivity. |
