Case #6
Ceraland Creek
October 15th, 2005

Conclusion of Investigation of Ceraland Creek on 10-15-2005

This location is just off Ceraland Recreation Area property. This is a very small country road that crosses over the creek in a low-lying area. Back in the 1970’s a woman tried to cross over the creek during a spring storm and was washed down stream in a flash flood and drowned. Supposedly you will see a ghostly figure of her in the creek and can hear her crying out. The night of the investigation was clear and crisp with nearly a full moon.

Robert, Shanon, and Greg were the investigators present. Equipment used was a night vision video camera, digital voice recorder, EMF detector and digital cameras. We had no other traffic pass our location on the road. On two different occasions we thought we saw something upstream but after shining a light on it we realized that one was just and old tire and the other was just a large tree limb grown out over the creek. At one time an investigator caught a glimpse of a shadow disappear behind a nearby tree. Other than this we had no other phenomena occur during the investigation.

Findings:  No video footage or pictures were conclusive of any type of paranormal activity. Greg caught one EVP of a female or child crying but it is very hard to distinguish. Based on our findings the team believes that on this night the spirit of the drowned lady did not make her presence known.
