Case #9
Hartsville Cemetery
November 19th, 2005

Hartsville Cemetery is located inside the city limits and is not accessible after dark. We chose to do this as a daytime to late evening investigation. Graves were a mix of old and new with some dating to the late 1800’s. We have no known history of this cemetery.

Weather was a crisp 40 degrees and a little breezy. Investigators present were Kenny, Greg, Robert, and Shanon plus one guest. Equipment used included video, digital cameras, and Digital Voice Recorders.

We were not sure what to expect this being our first daytime investigation. There were no phenomena that occurred to anyone in the group and overall the feeling was a peaceful one in the graveyard.

Findings: We did not capture anything on video or in our pictures. EVP detection was almost useless because of the dry leaves on the ground, which created too much background noise.

Hoosier Paranormal found no supernatural activity in this location and believes that spirits are at rest here, at least in the daytime.
