long time ago when I was about 17 years old, I was staying with my
friend, Debbie, in her apartment, but my stay only lasted a couple of
weeks. One night while I was sleeping (Debbie was in the next room) I
woke up with someone standing over me. He had blonde, curly hair and he
was very close to my face. I screamed at the top of my lungs, because I
thought it was an intruder, but when Debbie came running into the room,
there was no one there. We checked the doors and windows and they were
all closed tight and locked. So, we decided I must have been dreaming
and maybe my imagination just ran away with me. Then, a few nights later, the EXACT same thing happened again. I woke up with this figure standing over me as if he were looking very closely into my face!! Again, I screamed and Debbie came running in, but again, no one was there. By this point, I was afraid to sleep by myself in that room again, so the next couple of nights, I slept in Debbie's room. Then one day we were leaving the apartment and I had forgotten something. So, Debbie waitied in the car while I went back inside the apartment to get whatever it was I had forgotten (I can't remember what it was now). Anyhow, Debbie lived on the second level. I was hurrying down the steps and someone was following behind me as I heard their steps as well as my own. I thought it was the neighbor next door and I turned to speak to her but no one was there!! I ran as fast as I could to the car. Debbie knew I was scared - she said I looked like I just seen a ghost. That seemed rather ironic. I told her what happened and she said she watched me the whole way and saw no one. She could have thought I was crazy, but she was a good friend and she believed me. After that, I gathered my things and went back home. Debbie moved out shortly later, but as far as I know, she never experienced anything like I did. She said she got eerie feelings at times, but just dismissed it. To this day, I think it was a ghost. Nothing like that has ever happened to me before or since. I can't explain what happened, but to me, it was very real. Donna H. |
