Tossing Pebbles
by Greg Wilson

In the early 1960s,  my Parents and older siblings moved into the house in which I would grow up in. A late 1800s bungalow with 4 dormer windows on each side of the roof.
My dad knew he needed a bigger house for the family so he began remodeling it soon after moving in.

He started with the upstairs adding bedrooms for the kids and eventually an addition on the back of the house, a bedroom and a car port which would later become a bedroom. I can still remember riding my Big Wheel on that concrete slab before he started building the structure.

It was a very peaceful home, well as peaceful as it could be with 6 kids running around so I never considered it having any paranormal activity until one story that my sister told me years later. My sister and 2 oldest brothers were being a bit mischievous one day in the back yard. Dad had been working on the upstairs and had the dormer window open toward the back of the house to let cool air in.- Air conditioning was unheard of at the time.

My brothers and sister were gathering up pebbles from the ally that ran beside our house and were tossing these rocks up through this opened dormer window. Of course the fun didn't last long when dad saw what they were doing and made them stop and go upstairs to retrieve all those rocks.

Now they had been doing this for a while and had tossed several rocks through the window at least a dozen or more and knew these rocks were scatter all over the place, but they headed upstairs anyway to find all of those rocks. When they got to the top of the stairs and began looking around for them they saw something that completely amazed them. All the pebbles that they had tossed through the window were all lined up in a perfect row on the floor. One after the other all of them in a row parallel to the window from which they came.

I don't know what the odds of something like this happening is but I'm sure it's astounding. I have heard a rumor of a small child passing away in the house many years ago and maybe it was him playing with my older siblings.
